More than 350 undergraduate students from across the disciplines competed for monetary prizes in the annual Rice Undergraduate Research Symposium held yesterday at Tudor Fieldhouse. Judges from Rice University, Baylor College of Medicine, Chevron, Hewlett Packard, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, McDermitt, Will, and Emery, Methodist, National Oilwell Varco, Page, Schlumberger, Shell, Texas Children’s Hospital, the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Science, the University of Texas Health Science Center, and Zilka Biomass and Energy awarded students in the following categories:

 

School of Humanities 

  • ($250) Brooke Bullock
